The College Preparatory United States History students at YHS have started their Public Policy Projects and are set to present their research and policy recommendations during the week of February 13-17.

In order to best prepare our students, we would like to have community members come into our classes to help prepare our students for their presentations.

We would like our students to have the opportunity to conference one-on-one with community members with a background in public policy for about 20 minutes. The students would share their research, talk about their project, and discuss their ideas for a policy recommendation.

Your thoughts, advice, and guidance could really help our students effectively reflect on their work and better prepare them for the final presentation.

If you are willing and able to help out, please sign up on this site. We plan to do this for each of the following CP US History classes:

Monday, February 6: 8:15-9:45 a.m.  & 11:15 a.m. - 12:40 p.m.

Tuesday, February 7: 11:15 a.m. - 12:40 p.m.

Thank you very much for considering this request.

Sincerely,

Jackie Brookes, Sarah Carrigan and Nini Emmons
