If you are interested in volunteering in the Yarmouth School District it is necessary/required that a Volunteer Registration form is filled out and signed EACH year.  Registration forms are available in the offices at the Rowe School, Yarmouth Elementary School and Harrison Middle School.  Forms for each of the schools are also available for downloading and printing through the links below.

A Volunteer Orientation for all schools was held on Tuesday, 9/20/16 at the Rowe School.  If you were not able to attend please contact me at 207-846-2499.
If you have all ready attended an orientation in the past it is not necessary to attend this year's orientation.
Looking forward to a wonderful and exciting year of learning!

The College Preparatory United States History students at YHS have started their Public Policy Projects and are set to present their research and policy recommendations during the week of February 13-17.

In order to best prepare our students, we would like to have community members come into our classes to help prepare our students for their presentations.

We would like our students to have the opportunity to conference one-on-one with community members with a background in public policy for about 20 minutes. The students would share their research, talk about their project, and discuss their ideas for a policy recommendation.

Your thoughts, advice, and guidance could really help our students effectively reflect on their work and better prepare them for the final presentation.

If you are willing and able to help out, please sign up on this site. We plan to do this for each of the following CP US History classes:

Monday, February 6: 8:15-9:45 a.m.  & 11:15 a.m. - 12:40 p.m.

Tuesday, February 7: 11:15 a.m. - 12:40 p.m.

Thank you very much for considering this request.

Rachel Clark, K-4 Lead Math Teacher, is in need a volunteer to help out with a bit of a messy, tedious job of spray painting blocks orange.  She has a large batch of wooden beige and yellow blocks that need to be orange. They need to be spray painted orange on all sides and might mean more than one coat and more than one can.
Rachel is happy to furnish the paint as well as directions.  This is a job that may be best to be done in a garage or outside (hopefully it will warm up).
